Chickpeas is a plant growing only in a year, growing by seed and up to 50 cms in length in Turkey. Seeds are sometimes green, sometimes darker or even black color. Chickpeas is an easy plant to grow. It is grown in arid areas in Anatolia. It stands water shortages well and doesn’t really care about soil quality. Proceeds will be bad enough without the hot air. The leaves can be of 5-15 mm in size and buds can be as long as 30mm. Dried seeds can be eaten as green. Dried peas are used in many dishes.
